Started doing a Bible Study and for the first time, really had my faith truly tested. I used "had" as in past tense b/c I realized it was only to help make it stronger. I passed the test. At least that is what I'm telling myself at this point.
Started a new (a different one) Bible study in Donaldsonville, with Ashley, Mom and Sandra and 60 other parishioners. I'm really looking forward to it because it isn't something that happens often. Catholics studying the Bible? WHAT? I'm also SUPER excited that in 30 something days I'll be attending my first Woman's Retreat in Birmingham Alabama with my old friend Carrie. It's a shame that a few hundred miles can put so much distance btw two people, but we're growing closer everyday.
Before that takes place, I'm happy to say that Carey and I will be spending 6 days, well 5 really in San Francisco to celebrate my 25th birthday again. I've been 25 for so long now, it's easy! We're going to meet up with Ms. Joan Sedotal, since she and Jag live about an hour outside, we'll site see, eat a lot and visit some Vineyards, I can't wait. I've wanted to go to San Fran for a while. Saints play the 49ers while we are there and that will be an awesome game to watch. I'm just thrilled. I'm so blessed and I know it's God's plan and blessing that we get to go. Now if His plan will include a new house, I'll rejoice that is for sure.
Well, nothing really exciting happening. Aunt Lavonne went to the Doctor today to find out if she has Ovarian Cancer...I hope not. This disease is just killing everyone. God's will - that's all I can say.
I've been sick for 4 days and cannot wait to breathe again. It can't happen soon enough. More to come I'm sure.
