Christmas 2010

Seriously it's been almost 4 month now since the last time I posted here. I forget I have it. I mean that darn iphone and Facebook takes up so much time, it's just ridiculous. Carey tells me often that I can say "when" and he'll delete Facebook for me, but for some reason I can't do it. It's as if I get a newspaper everyday and all it has is news about people I know. I love it. I don't even spend that much time on it b/c I have so many friends it would take every minute of everyday to read everything.

We celebrated our first Christmas without Grandma Vivian today at Arthur Paul's house. It was nice but not the same. I do miss her, although sad as this may sound, not as much as I had expected to. The last few months of her life I wasn't around as much as I would have liked to be.

We went to Nannie Cindy (Broussard's) after the Landry Christmas and had fun. We laughed because last night Whitney was singing Silent Night and says "Silent Night, Holy Night, all is calm all is bright, Brown young virgin, smile so bright..." How funny is that? I'm dying laughing, she just cracks me up.

We're still in the condo and again I'm trying to remind myself over and over again that we're fine where we are. I have a very good feeling that we'll not be in a new house before we have a baby, or at least I feel like we'll be moving while I'm pregnant. I'm trusting God's timing, it's always perfect and I just tell myself that again and again, one day Carey will believe His power and trust his timing too, I think he's coming around, but it's taking longer than I would like, still I'm glad that Carey is coming around.

No other exciting news for us, but lots of engagements happening: Faye Baptist, Lindsay Robinson, Kristyn Shores (Joey's girlfriend)...I love hearing the news. No new pregnancies.

Misty and Landon are having a girl to join Jax. They like Elliot, the only girl name I can get Carey to agree on. Although Misty is probably the only person who has the same taste in names as I do. Clearly we were meant to be friends. We've decided Ari would be cute for a girl or boy. We like that and Keller for both, so we'll probably just go with one of those and since Carey knows we'll have a girl, I'm thinking Keller first then if we have a boy we can use Ari. Ari-from Entourage. What is it I wonder with me and names of characters on TV shows we watch? I had picked Fin long before we started watching Glee. So I guess that doesn't count. Suzanna said I'd wake up one day with the baby fever and I sure did. All of a sudden, it's baby this and baby that. I didn't mention it to much b/c I have to answer the "when are y'all gonna have a baby" question enough as it is.

No plan for NYs eve. Will (Mitchell) will be in town, but I'm not sure what our plans will be.

We've decided against Italy. Carey has decided really that he doesn't want to go. I want to take a big trip before we have a child and so IDK where we'll go. He said we could go go NYC, so maybe we'll do that. I'm hoping we can go in March, that would be SOOOOO fun.

We'll see, then maybe we can start trying to have a baby late summer and whoo hoo a baby early 2012. YAY.
